The project
As a freelancer, I worked on the launch of Society Pizzeria’s fourth restaurant in Bondi Beach, Sydney, introducing a selection of Southern Italian seafood dishes alongside their classic Sicilian pizza menu. The challenge was to create a fresh brand identity and iconic look & feel that reflected both the new pizza-and-fish concept and the vibrant Bondi Beach lifestyle. I handled art direction, design, and illustration to bring the concept to life.
Visual Style
In addition to the new visual identity, the client wanted to decorate the restaurant’s 7.5-metre main wall with an illustration. The interior design was inspired by the vintage Italian piazza, featuring San Pietrini floors, beach-style seating, and terracotta-coloured walls. To create the final look and feel, I fused the interior design style with the Bondi Beach vibe using digital collage techniques, enhanced with a distinctive gradient map to seamlessly blend everything into a unique and ownable graphic style.

To communicate the opening, I developed the launch campaign assets for both print and digital media like 00H posters, A5 flyers, EDMs, press invitations and social posts
